| Work. Work. Work. This Fall it will be work, school, work, school. I have one thing to say I'M TIRED!!!!! Haha, oh well. I hate my job but I don't know what's worse being at home or being at work. Everyone at work seems to be leaving for various reasons. Over the past three months we have had 3 managers leave, one that actually walked out on the job & we've had several long-time employees quit. One of my frequent customers came in the other day & I was all,"Hi Dr. Phillips!! How was your vacation!?" And he was telling me about his last two months & all his adventures & then said,"I don't recongnize ANYONE who works here anymore, maybe just a handful." Haha.
So I'm in the kitchen cooking & glanced over at the newspaper, & look what Monopoly has done:
Monopoly has gone VISA DEBIT! Haha. I want this now. Now my loser friends can't cheat & steal my damn money when we play. Instead they'll steal my damn property cards. Lol.
Oh yeah, Christine's wedding was on the 15th. It was absolutely beautiful, I forgot my camera so I have to get pictures from someone else. Pink, silver, & white were their colors. I still can't believe I wore PASTEL PINK. Haha, anything for my friend. Our day started at 6:30am & it ended at about 1pm. They had an early wedding because they had to catch their flight to Hawaii. Then after a week there he is taking her to Paris. MUST BE NICE. Haha, she has also has a nice car waiting for her at their new home when they come back. But the wedding was great, Christine started crying during their vows. Such a girl. Good luck to them, I love you guys! =)
Always a bridesmaid never a bride. Haha, maybe I am just bitter. I'm young but bitter. Because when you love someone for 3 years & they wake up one morning & simply tell you,"I don't love you anymore." you are left feeling burned & for a lonnnng time. *Holds hand up* No no... no more speaking of it. I just had to get it out of my system. Haha.
At least tomorrow is Thursday. I gotta wake up early & deposit a check, run to best buy, lunch with Elis, pick up eggrolls for work, working & then lunch break with Liz (she's in town from Cali!), then working until 11pm. Off Friday, I'll probably see Lisa for a bit. Gift exchange!! Haha. Then working all day Saturday. Haven't seen next weeks schedule yet, but apparently I'm off on Monday? Weird, I open every Monday. I think they are freaking out because I do all the paperwork & miscellaneous stuff on Monday & Wednesday mornings & since I have threatened to quit they want to give the other FECs a chance to do what I do in the mornings. Right. Good luck with that.
[Edit] HAHAHAHA. Work offered me a promotion today, they want me to work in apparel! I highly DOUBT I will. They were like,"Your experience is blah blah blah & they way you do things in the apparel department even when you don't have to is exceptional!" Right. Better offer me a shit load of money to take that crappy department into my hands. Besides I'm not stupid even if I do work in apparel I will get called for miscellaneous Front End things. *rolls eyes* Apparel. Hah. [/Edit] |
